The SMW Ku LNB 10.70–12.75 GHz 2–4 Band from Swedish Microwave AB is a high-performance, switchable Ku-band LNB designed for professional satellite communication and reception systems requiring flexible sub-band selection, excellent phase-noise performance, and a wide IF output range. It is an upgraded version of SMW’s popular Ku Multiband/Q-PLL platform, incorporating improved technology and additional monitoring and control capabilities.
With support for 2-, 3-, and 4-band configurations, the LNB provides flexibility for different Ku-band frequency plans. Multiple LO frequencies from 9.75 to 11.30 GHz are available, with customized LO options also supported. Sub-band switching can be performed using traditional 13/15/18/24 V and 22 kHz tone switching, or through RS485 Modbus RTU when the optional Monitoring & Control interface is selected.
